New York Fashion Week: Spring 2012 (Part III)

Before I dive into my third love letter to New York Fashion Week, I wanted to share that this is my 700th post! Thank you for continuing to read, comment and motivate me to write!

Now back to the runway! This week I discovered a designer I'd never really noticed before: Tracy Reese. I first noticed these pretty blouse/skirt combinations:

I think this striped dress is so cute! Perfect for a summer party. It makes me want to be on a boat.

This rainbow colored, striped dress reminds me of a dress I gravitated towards at Madewell. It's so soft and girly.

This is a perfect day to night outfit. The skirt works for daytime and the black top works for evening. With some big gold jewelry, it would be fabulous.

This past week on Bravo TV's The Rachel Zoe Project, Rachel unveiled her new collection. Rachel is best known for styling A list celebs such as Anne Hathaway, Kate Hudson, Eva Mendes, Cameron Diaz, Demi Moore and Molly Sims. Introducing her own clothing line is a big deal. As she would say, this collection is BA-na-nas.

I think this dress look like one Rachel would wear herself. The print is amazing and it's obvious the dress would move beautifully when you walk.

This two piece, belted, white outfit is feminine and bohemian. So chic.

If I were engaged, I would snag this one shoulder, white, cocktail dress for my bachelorette party of rehearsal dinner.

I need this black, sequin cardigan. You can wear it over a dress (as it's styled here) or with jeans and pumps. Ultra fierce.

Then we have Marc by Marc Jacobs. His entire collection exemplified the color blocking trend, but I was in love with this one patterned dress:

No Fashion Week recap would be complete without a celebrity, front row snapshot. I was so happy to see a glowing Beyonce in the front row at Vera Wang!

And that's a wrap! Another New York Fashion Week has come to a close. I don't know about you, but my style appetite has been completely satisfied.
