90210: Senior Prom

I was looking forward to this week's episode of 90210 knowing it was the senior prom episode. Just as in real life, the event was surrounded by drama.

First, Annie attends Marla's funeral and meets Marla's daughter who gave me an uneasy vibe. There was definitely something off about her. I was also distracted by Annie's newly darken hair which looked jet black in the funeral scene.

Later in the episode, Annie sells Marla's necklace to pay for Dixon's tuition to Pepperdine and at the close of the episode, Annie learns Marla has left her entire estate in Annie's name. I have a feeling Marla's daughter is going to return to fight Annie for Marla's fortune.

One final Annie observation: did anyone else notice that after showing Dixon the two dresses she was deciding between she wore and entirely different, third option to the prom?

Speaking of prom, why wasn't Dixon the DJ?

I felt horribly for Naomi when her crowning moment was destroyed by the accusations of her teacher. I felt even worse when it turned out Max edited her paper to ensure she'd pass. Yikes! Do you think they will break up?

On the subject of break ups, when will someone discover Adriana is behind everything terrible that is happening to Silver and Navid? I cannot stand her character. She is heinous.

Switching gears, my favorite story line this episode was Ivy and Raj. Ivy reminded me of Kelly Taylor in the scene where she accompanies Raj to the doctor. Kelly used to support Brandon just like that on the original show, all the way down to the body language. I couldn't believe that Raj proposed! Who gets married at seventeen?

In previews for next week's season finale, the gang gets all dressed up for Ivy and Raj's Indian wedding! I can't wait.
