Grey's Anatomy: New Beginnings

I find that my favorite episodes of Grey's Anatomy have a 50/50 ratio of heart-wrenching to humorous stories lines. This week's episode definitely delivered!

Let's start at the end. Callie is pregnant with Mark's baby? Holy mother (no pun intended). Will Callie keep the baby? Will Arizona still want to be with her? What will Mark say? Will Lexi run for the hills? Now this is a plot twist!

In another amazing development, Ricky from "My So Called Life" guest starred on this episode! I own that full series on DVD and he was one of the pillars of that incredible show. He gave the sensitive performance he is known for in his guest spot this week. So fun to see him here!

Each week I am falling more and more in love with Scott Foley's character. I love his disarming charm and warmth and I love that it's having such a positive effect on Teddy. I know they are going to fall in love and then she will lose him (just like Izzie and Denny), but I am so enjoying watching their chemistry develop.

This week the new surgical interns arrived. I couldn't help but think back to the first episodes of Grey's where our own stars gathered each day to eat lunch in the hospital basement and compare all the horrible mistakes they had made that morning. Ah, memories.

Of course Alex has already slept with one of the interns. She is played by Amber Stevens who plays Ashleigh on ABC Family's GREEK. I love her on that show and hope she becomes a regular on Grey's!

I can't help but gush about Dr. Bailey's new relationship with nurse Eli. How cute is it to watch Dr. Bailey blush? I have loved every romantic story line they have given her over the years - first her anniversary tradition with her husband, then her steamy make outs with Ben, and now Eli!

I am also looking forward to how the race for chief resident continues to play out. The look on Cristina's face when she learned they were being evaluated by the interns was priceless.

What about you, Grey's fans? What was your favorite moment this week?
