Friday is my favorite day of the week and not just because its the start of the weekend, but because its the day US Weekly magazine arrives in my mailbox. There is no better way to unwind from the week than reading celebrity gossip.
In this week's issue, on pages 2 and 3 there is a stunning fashion spread highlighting celebs who have recently rocked cocktail dresses from the label Miu Miu. I literally gasped when I saw the spread and pulled the magazine closer to inspect every detail of these fabulous minidresses.
Page 2 shows my girl Taylor Swift in a green number that is the Emerald City personified. It fits her perfectly. To her right is former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham in a dress I'd like to own myself! I love the ice blue, sparkling skirt. Next to Victoria is indie film darling Carey Mulligan in a 70s retro, floral, lavender number.
On Page 3, Twilight actress Nikki Reed is wearing a beautiful, light weight, floral patterned dress. This would be perfect for a night out during my next visit to Miami! In the center of the page is the always timeless Natalie Portman. This navy dress is simple, but feminine. On the far right is Julia Roberts' niece, Emma Roberts, in a celedon, v-neck dress with a crystal belt. I love the layered skirt!
I have several favorite designers - Marchesa, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, Narciso Rodriguez, Jason Wu - but I never really latched onto Miu Miu. Until now.
