The highlight of this week's episode of Grey's Anatomy was without question, a drunk, rambling Dr. Bailey! From her request to dial up Ben, to her insistence that Dr. Kepner not take her "maiden voyage" with Alex Karev, she had me cracking up like a sober friend at 3:00am on Saturday night.
Also hilarious was Cristina's 80s glam rock outfit as she tried her hand at bartending at Joe's. I love how Derek watched over her all night as if he is the Cristina whisperer.
Speaking of the night, Alex and Meredith got bold on the night shift and took on a major surgery without their jerk attending, Dr. Stark. Way to go! We're very proud of you. We're also proud of Lexi for handling the care of those two brothers, as well as telling their parents about the death of their younger son. That was hard to watch.
Also hard to watch, Callie trying to lick her wounds with Mark Sloan.
In previews for next week Derek takes Cristina fishing while Meredith and Hunt scream at each other about who let Cristina lose her mind. This should be a doosey.
I secretly hope Ben does come back in a future episode and that in the sober light of day Dr. Bailey still wants him. I really liked them together and she deserves a decent man. You hear me, Shonda?
