Last weekend while babysitting my ten year old twin cousins, we decided to watch a movie on demand. As they are too young for rated R movies we settled on Post Grad.
The movie stars two of my favorite television characters Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel of Gilmore Girls) and Matt Saracen, QB 1 (Zach Guilford of Friday Night Lights). The movie chronicles the summer after their college graduation as they try to figure out their next moves.
While the plot is 100 percent formulaic and predictable the supporting cast is actually made up of some heavy hitters - Michael Keaton, GLEE's Jane Lynch, Carol Burnett and a very steamy Rodrigo Santoro.
If you are in the mood for a short (90 minutes), light, happy ending movie, add Post Grad to your Netflix queue.
