This week we celebrated Thanksgiving on the Upper East Side. There were several things I was grateful for in last night's episode:
1) The dinner table drama spliced with my current favorite song "Whatcha Say" by Jason Derulo. Perfection.
2) Dorota and Vanya having a baby! Too cute!
3) Both Serena and Blair's tres chic outfits at Thanksgiving dinner.
4) Maureen finding the letter from Serena's father in her coat pocket and her subsequent devilish grin when she realized what she had uncovered.
No family Thanksgiving is free of complaints, so here they come:
1) I hate the idea of Vanessa and Dan as a couple. How do we kill this story line?
2) Blair has shifted for scheming queen bee to annoying attention whore.
3) Where are the story lines and strong writing for Chuck? When he goes to comfort Nate after Serena chooses Tripp all he can muster to say is, "Let's go get drunk." REALLY? That's all you got for me?
In previews for next week it seems Serena gets into a car accident! Yikes!
Please say a future episode is going to include a baby shower for Dorota. Oh pretty please.
