Party In The City Where The Heat Is On

This week on The City, the gang heads to Miami for a winter getaway. Before leaving Ally makes Erin promise to keep an eye on her BF Adam since he seems to have a problem with the whole faithful thing. Ally stays back in New York to shoot a fashion spread for NYLON Magazine.

Once in Miami and happily floating in the pool, Whitney tells the girls she has given Jay two weeks to find an apartment. Thrilled about the new house guest, are ya Whit?

That night, at Liv, a club on South Beach, Jay's ex Dani shows up. How she knew he would be in Miami, we have no idea. Jay and Dani make their way toward each other and we learn that the last time they saw each other, they went home together. AND he was already dating Whitney at the time. Uh uh. Bad, Jay.

Dani decides she should approach Whitney and apologize. Jay swoops in to remind Whitney that he did nothing wrong, and all he cares about is that she trusts him. Whitney does not look pleased.

Meanwhile, Adam is surrounded by a bevy of big boobed "ladies" and Erin calls Ally to give her a status update. She tells Ally that Adam is at the center of a mob of slizzies. Ally hangs up the phone, and returns to her photo shoot. The male model she is shooting with asks her out for a drink, and although she declined at first saying she has a boyfriend, after talking to Erin she decides she will take him up on the offer after all. Is it wrong that I want them to hook up?

The gang returns to NYC and Jay and Whit are talking about the Dani situation. Again. Jay continues to defend himself and Whit says "this conversation is making me sick. I don't want to be played for a fool." Jay does little to comfort her, and you can see Whit rehearsing her break up speech in her head.

That night Adam meets Ally for dinner and arrives with flowers. She confesses that Erin called her and tattled on him for being surrounded by chickies. He defends himself, saying he didn't touch any of them. Ally decides this would be a good time to confess she had a drink with the male model. Adam goes from defense to offensive in the blink of an eye, and he is not pleased.

Then they have another Ally-Adam fight which goes something like this:
Ally: Babe, Why do you cheat on me?
Adam: Honey, I love you
Ally: Baby, I just don't understand why you make this so hard
Adam: Honey, I love you
Ally: Babe, I feel like I can't trust you
Adam: Honey, I love you
Ally: Silent. Tears start rolling down her done up face

The fight ends with Ally deciding she is going to look for her own place, and Adam pleading "I feel like I'm losing you." Dear god, I wish you would!

The last scene of the episode has Whitney shopping with Jess, Jay's bandmate's girlfriend. Whitney says she has a feeling Jay isn't being honest with her, but she wants to take his word. Jess, who lived with Jay at one point says, "Jay has a temper and he's not trustworthy. There are always little lies with Jay." Great, we love liars around here. Jason? Spencer? The Hills was full of 'em!
Next week it seems Jay and Dani run into each other again, and are back to their old ways - going home together. Whitney has drama at work, when Olivia criticized her choice for an Elle cover outfit, and then takes the credit when the outfit gets praised. Olivia, just when I thought I could not possibly hate you anymore, you find another way to piss me off. Bravo, wretched one, see you next week.
